Towards the business for nutrition improvement corresponded to SDGs

[Seminar Overview]

In 2015, United Nations launched “Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)” as a global goal instead of MDGs.  SDGs aims for ending poverty and creating the sustainable society around the world.

The SDGs goal No.2: “Ending hunger, improving food security and nutrition and promoting sustainable agriculture” tells eliminating malnutrition and improving nutritional status for young, pregnancy and lactating women and aged people by 2030.

‘How to build the business model for nutrition improvement corresponded to SDGs’ is an important issue for Japanese food companies. On the other hand, it seems hard to create the new business for them in this area.

Therefore, NJPPP will hold a seminar by national and international experts for contributing to establish a business model for nutrition improvements. The details are below.
